I had previously had a windows 7 partition done with boot camp. I dont know if its related but my girlfriend plugged an external flash drive with a backup system that copied some of my files includimg some of my windows one. From that now on i could not acess my windows partition it was stuck on a black screen with a white bar flashing witch i assume to be the doss. I wanted to reinstall windows so i just reformated the partition and booted the flash drive with witch i previously installed windows serval time already.
I could not install windows on the partition so i hit the format option within the widows installer but i could not install it. I decided to start from 0 and earase the partition itself via the mac Recovery. Since i keep nothing important on my mac, i decided to simply earase the whole disc and restart with a fresh install of what are you doing in my house. Problem is now the partition are still there and when i try to reinstall osx i can't choose either of the partition.
So now i cant install osx or windows and the onely thing i can tto os enter recovery mode. Wich still wont repartition the disc in a single partition. I'm on prtition mid mac book air 13 inch. I click earase and i got a message telling me that The erasing folder as failed, press done to continue. When I click partition and click the one i don't want then click on the - to earase it, it just says operation failed I'm sorry that i cant include images the site doesn't let me use the ones from my iphone.

Are you still able to boot OS X from your internal drive? If so, what version is that OS X? And, what version of OS X do you want to re-install on the internal drive? Do you have an USB external drive that can be used as a cloned backup of yow internal drive?
Ok so i did what you told me once more and i have not been able to earase the other partition but i unmonted and remonted the discs and i now could be able to freshly install osx. O did the whole prosses and from the newly installed os i have been able to finally earase the other partition.
